Among the red varieties the most widespread is Plavac. Wine of the island of Korcula has distinct personality, complexity, pronounced varietal aroma and high spirits as a reflection of smell, taste and climate of the Mediterranean. They hae special and extremely fine acids, unusual for wine warm climate, which makes them extremely fresh and smooth.
